| THIS WEEKEND, Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, 2008: the Female Flame-off, a glassblowing competition at Revere Studios in Berkeley, 2525 Eighth St. near Ashby. Twenty women will compete. I'm scheduled to get on the torch from noon to 6pm on Saturday, Nov. 1st. Judging, raffle, and auction on Sunday. This is a charity event for women in Afghanistan. |
